Unique Customer Problem

  • A customer approached AJB requiring a new transaction switch for electronic tenders using multiple communication protocols

AJB’s Solution

  • AJB implemented multiple Retail Transaction Switch (RTS) networks, allowing this merchant direct TCP/IP connections from each lane to RTS, thus eliminating a single point of failure store side
  • The quick implementation of the gift card module was possible due to AJB’s vast list of certified and implemented gift card links which met all timelines outlined by the customer
  • Multiple RTS’ were implemented to provide this merchant the redundant capability to handle all traffic should several RTS be unavailable
  • AJB was able to meet the strict deadlines for live system implementation without incident, including IP and 3201 communications modules
  • As the implementation of the new authorization and gift card systems proceeded the customer was able to enjoy a turnkey solution
  • The customer was provided with the means of a seamless and speedy transition to the new authorization network due to AJB’s premium product suite
  • AJB worked directly with this merchant to understand their unique operating environment, including both hardware and software configuration and implemented a quality customized solution meeting all deadlines
