Unique Customer Problem

  • A customer approached AJB requiring a custom solution which included remote kiosk authorization
  • The customer also requested a function to perform mainframe information retrieval lookup with the ability to communicate over standard TCP /IP protocol as well as X.25 to the selected authorizer
  • To solve this problem the customer needed a solution to be delivered, meeting all project objectives

AJB’s Solution

  • AJB implemented a custom solution for the Kiosk application which supported TCP / IP connection into the Retail Transaction Switch (RTS) that was installed
  • AJB also installed a hot stand by server in the event that the primary machine was not available, all traffic could then be routed via the backup machine
  • The single RTS system is capable of handling multiple telecommunication protocols meeting the client’s stated requirements
  • The merchant also incorporated telephone and Internet traffic into the authorization switch to further leverage AJB’s technology
  • This custom tailored solution was a result of AJB’s highly experienced staff and modular architecture which allows unique solutions to be installed
  • AJB provided this customer with a quality solution due to our extensive industry knowledge and premium product suite
