VERIFONE MANAGED SERVICES

Managed Services (M+) is Verifone’s proactive management system that provides merchants the flexibility of moving their Corporate and Cloud components of the payment cycle from their internal environments to a hosted third party environment; potentially reducing costs and merchant management complexity of their consumer payment transactions.  Verifone’s Managed Services allows for faster detection of issues and gives the Merchant choice. 

FASTER DETECTION

In an M+ environment, merchants’ Settlement, Authorization & Polling will have active monitoring as well as automated alerts set up to allow for rapid detection and response. Merchants are not held solely responsible to react, initiate and resolve the issue, but instead they move that responsibility to the Verifone Cloud team.

FINANCIAL INSTITUTION ESCALATIONS

In an M+ environment, Verifone can be established as an authorized provider for the merchant which allows Verifone to act and respond on the merchant’s behalf with any issues that touches their processor including PIN pad set up, merchant number set-ups, etc. This again allows the merchant to process things faster, with less steps, and with less in-house resources consumed by activities that Verifone can remove from merchant responsibilities

REMOTE SET-UP OF NEW STORE PAYMENT PROCESSING

Clients can authorize Verifone to move the responsibilities of new store set-up for FIPay and RPM to the Verifone Cloud team. The client initiates the requests and the dedicated support team completes and follows up the request to completion. The merchant only needs to initiate and confirm the setup before activating. Verifone is able to set-up stores on behalf of the merchants on their dedicated server from their middleware platform.

TRANSACTION SWITCHING

A transaction switch provides a merchant with the ability to securely accept and process individual card and transaction types to one or several financial institutions for authorization. Our solution can become the hub for all of your payment processing needs in a multi-channel retail environment where electronic payments are accepted from various sales channels including store, e-commerce, and call center. Implementing a transaction switch allows users to manage electronic payments centrally, by providing real time visibility to the payment processing eco-system.

AUTHORIZATION & SETTLEMENT

Acceptance and processing of all forms of electronic payments including credit, debit, gift, loyalty, and private label cards. When combined with our settlement software, authorization provides merchants with a complete payment processing solution.

E2EE & TOKENIZATION RECONCILIATION REPORTING

End-to-End encryption and tokenization solutions (also referred to as P2PE) provide merchants the ability to reduce scope of PCI when deployed. Cardholder data is encrypted at swipe (within a secure PIN entry device) and decrypted outside the merchants network reducing risk of data exposure. When combined with tokenization, merchants are relieved with the need to store card holder data.
