Gilbarco, AJB demonstrate Canada’s first live EMV transactions at the pump
GREENSBORO, N.C. - March 4, 2009 - Gilbarco Veeder-Root and AJB Software Design Inc. of Toronto will demonstrate Canada’s first live EuroPay MasterCard Visa (EMV) transactions at the pump. The demonstration will take place March 10 - 11 at the National Energy Equipment (NEE) booth 309, Convenience U CARWACS Show at the Toronto Congress Centre. Gilbarco FlexPay EMV CRIND hardware and software from AJB enable the EMV compliant transactions. EMV compliant transactions reduce the opportunity for fraud, reduce charge-backs to retailers, and provide finer control of “offline” credit card transaction approvals.
